WE WOULDN'T BE
WITHOUT THE BEE
We wouldn't be without the bee,
humming a bumble rhapsody,
a zooming, booming melody.

The bee, once known as heaven's tears,
has zig-zagged worlds and hemispheres
for over a hundred million years.

There's twenty thousand kinds of bees,
bobbing on blooms and blossom trees,
with grace and with exquisite ease.

Bees fly at fifteen miles per hour,
ferrying pollen to devour,
whilst helping reproduce the flower.

The magical, devoted bee,
performing acts of alchemy,
works hard to maintain harmony.

Eighty per cent of food in shops
relies on pollinated crops.
Without the bee, everything stops!
