I was unable to find out any information about this flag. Neither history nor meaning seem to be very well known.
I found the flag next to the bandshell on the central village square, together with the flag of the canton of Valais and the joint tourism organization of the municipalities in the Saas Valley.

Ich konnte keinerlei Informationen über diese Flagge in Erfahrung bringen. Weder die Geschichte noch die Bedeutung scheinen sehr bekannt zu sein.
Ich fand die Flagge neben der Freilichtbühne am zentralen Dorfplatz, zusammen mit der Flagge des Kantons Wallis und der gemeinsamen Tourismusorganisation der Gemeinden des Saastals.
