EN: The parish church of Saas-Almagell is located somewhat southeast of the village center on the edge of the village.
It is a simple village church decorated with pilasters. The church tower with a pointed helmet is on the northeast corner, where the nave is closed by a round chancel.
The parish of Saas-Almagell became independent from Saas-Grund in 1893. The old chapel was inaugurated as the parish church in 1897 and replaced by the current building in 1938/39. Inside, there is a baroque high altar from 1694, the painting on the chancel arch was created by Willy Hartung.
DE: Die Pfarrkirche von Saas-Almagell steht etwas südöstlich des Dorfzentrums am Dorfrand.
Es ist eine einfache mit Lisenen geschmückte Dorfkirche. Der Kirchturm mit Spitzhelm steht an der nordöstlichen Ecke, wo das Langhaus in einen Rundchor abschliesst.
Die Pfarrei Saas-Almagell wurde 1893 von Saas-Grund selbständig. Die alte Kapelle wurde 1897 zur Pfarrkirche geweit und 1938/39 durch das heutige Gebäude ersetzt. Im Innern befindet sich ein barocker Hochaltar aus dem Jahr 1694, das Gemälde am Chorbogen stammt von Willy Hartung.
