Václav Holzknecht (May 2, 1904, Prague - August 13, 1988, Jindrichuv Hradec) was a Czech pianist, music scientist, music popularizer, publicist, critic, dramaturg, organizer and teacher, translator from French, one of the founders of the Prague Spring International Music Festival , long-time director of the Prague Conservatory, personal friend of the composer Jaroslav Ježek.
