This plaque is mounted on the wall, to the right of the red door located on the left side of the former St Anne's rectory. Cette plaque est fixée au mur, à la droite de la porte rouge située sur le côté gauche de l'ancien presbytère Sainte-Anne.

The former St. Anne's Rectory was
designed by W.E. Noffke and is an
excellent example of the Beaux-Arts style.
The building features light-coloured
limestone-like finishes, prominent
giant-order Corinthian columns,
pedimented entrances and an arcaded
balcony.The rectory is representative of
the early francophone Roman Catholic
Community in Lowertown.

L’ancien presbytère Sainte-Anne a été
conçu par W.E. Noffke. Parfaitement
représentatif du style Beaux-Arts, l’édifice
comprend des finitions claires de style
calcaire, d’imposantes colonnes
corinthiennes, des entrées surmontées de
frontons et un balcon à arcades. Le
presbytère témoigne de la présence de la
première communauté catholique
francophone dans la Basse-Ville.
