872 6385 A TIDAL (AG0291) is located at the main boat launch within Fort De Soto county park. It is just inside the park right after your pass the last toll booth on your way in. It is located at the far NW corner of the boat launch / parking area, near the Edgemont Key Ferry dock.
There is a $5 fee to enter the park and at least $1.75 in tolls required to reach the park.
This one is listed on geocaching.com (
visit link) although the coordinates are off by 0.26 miles / 420 meters. In 2005 the US Power Squadon posted coordinates "N27 38.820 W82 42.989" which is within 4 meters (16') of what I recorded with my phone.
The disk is in poor condition and is barely legible - I could only make out the starting "8" and the ending "A"
