The Themed Homemade Mailbox is made from several metal cans of various sizes and other rolled metal pieces. The bull's snout has the top section that lifts up for the delivery of mail; while rear end opens for the retrieval of the mail. The legs are made of slightly tapering tubes with reverse-tapered sections for the hooves. Horns, ears, and eyes are added to the head, and the bull has a 'cow bell/ hanging from its chest.

While the body is mostly painted white it is rather worn and chipped. (There are several charcoal-coloured, curved and shaped patches welded to the body for markings.) Each leg has a different colour, as is each hoof. It is mounted directly atop a rusty steel pipe that holds the properties address number to the side.
