FR Simiane-la-Rotonde est une commune française située dans le département des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, en région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

Le village historique est construit en haut sur le rocher mais depuis bien longtemps l'espace n'était pas suffisant et des maisons ont commencées à être construites bien plus bas. C'est là que l'on peut voir, entre les maison, cette tour avec son architecture assez typique. D'abord les larmier, des bandeaux de terre cuite vernissée, destinés à empêcher les insectes de grimper le long du mur. Ensuite le toit en deux niveaux est assez représentatif des constructions de pigeonniers de Provence.
EN Simiane-la-Rotonde is a French commune located in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region.

The historic village is built high on the rock but for a long time space was not sufficient and houses started to be built much lower. This is where you can see, between the houses, this tower with its fairly typical architecture. First the teardrop, strips of glazed terracotta, intended to prevent insects from climbing along the wall. Then the roof in two levels is quite representative of the constructions of dovecotes of Provence.
