[EN] "Fort Vauban plunges into mystery, the end of this week, Friday 11 and Saturday 12 March, on the initiative of students in professional license heritage and tourism of the faculty of La Rochelle. A time travel dubbed with pleasure by the Musée de Fouras always on the lookout for novelties likely to make it better known. Because, to be rich in a silhouette photographed, repeatedly and claimed, by these visitors and the inhabitants of the peninsula, the fort Vauban can sometimes suffer from a lack of historical legibility.
The museum is there to take over and pose as a mediator between history and the curious. Thus, the project of Megan, Karine, Eva and Samuel fully fits into this approach.
A journey full of surprises
"This is a trip back in time that we will offer," said the team. Difficult to say more because one of the keys to the success of the proposal is obviously surprise. The organizers slip into the conversation that the route will be from the bottom to the top of the dungeon, embellished with puzzles and theatrical interventions. Eleanor of Aquitaine has already set up this meeting on his electronic agenda. It seems she will not be alone.
Visitors are more likely to dive into the past than the atmosphere made of lights, of new images will encourage them.
A road book, tales, anecdotes, are also announced. The aspects of this trip are multiple and naturally intriguing. But, beyond the careful staging and which requires the limitation of group visits, it is indeed History that will be in the spotlight. 3,500 years from Antiquity to the 21st century, not forgetting the Renaissance or the inevitable battle of the fire-fighters. "A way to open a dialogue between cultures and centuries," according to Megan, in charge of communication for the event.
