CZ: Autor reliéfu Emanuel Julian Kodet (23. brezna 1880 Pelhrimov – 4. února 1954 Lucany nad Nisou) byl ceský sochar, malír a grafik. Mimojiné vytvoril plastiky a pilastry pro novostavbu budovy pražské Filosofické fakulty UK, z roku 1915 pocházejí alegorické reliéfy Obchod a Prumysl na vídenské Živnobance. Jeho životním dílem se stala postava Jana Žižky u Sudomere – šestnáctimetrový monument – obrovská postava husitského vojevudce vévodí krajine od roku 1925. Po vzniku Ceskoslovenské republiky v roce 1918 vytvoril pomník padlých v Jiricích, Husuv pomník v Sušici (1923) a radu dalších vzpomínkových del. Vytvoril také radu del se sokolskou tematikou. Byl tvurcem keramických skulptur ve stylu Art deco, které jsou dodnes ceneny ve svete.

Jan Malýpetr (29. kvetna 1815 Olovnice – 31. ledna 1899 Praha) byl ucitel a nadšený propagátor telocviku. Roku 1848 se stal prvním ceským ucitelem telesné výchovy na zemské škole v Praze. Spolu s J. E. Purkynem, F. L. Celakovským a K. J. Erbenem vytvoril ceské sportovní názvosloví. Ve svých žácích povzbuzoval národní uvedomení. V prostorách jeho ústavu v Panské ulici byla 16. února 1862 založena Pražská jednota telocvicná, pozdeji známá jako Sokol, a Malýpetr se stal jejím prvním cvicitelem. Na verejných školách vyucoval do roku 1888; vedle toho zakládal a provozoval soukromé telocvicny ve mestech i na venkove. Zasloužil se o zavedení telesné výchovy do škol a její popularizaci.

EN: The relief author Emanuel Julian Kodet (March 23, 1880 Pelhrimov - February 4, 1954 Lucany nad Nisou) was a Czech sculptor, painter and graphic artist. Among other things, he created sculptures and pilasters for the new building of the Prague Philosophical Faculty of Charles University. His life work became the figure of Jan Žižka near Sudomer - a 16-meter monument - a huge figure of the Hussite military leader has dominated the landscape since 1925. After the establishment of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1918 he created a monument to the fallen in Jirice, Hus memorial in Sušice (1923) and many other memorial works. He also created a number of works on the Sokol theme. He was the author of Art Deco ceramic sculptures, which are still valued worldwide.

Jan Malýpetr (May 29, 1815 Olovnice - January 31, 1899 Prague) was a teacher and enthusiastic promoter of physical education. In 1848 he became the first Czech physical education teacher at the Provincial School in Prague. Together with J. E. Purkyne, F. L. Celakovský and K. J. Erben, he created Czech sports terminology. In his pupils he encouraged national awareness. On February 16, 1862, the Prague Gymnasium Unity, later known as the Sokol, was founded on the premises of his Institute in Panská Street, and Malýpetr became its first trainer. He taught at public schools until 1888; in addition, he founded and operated private gyms in towns and rural areas. He contributed to the introduction of physical education in schools and its popularization.
