On the west side of US 19 traveling in the southbound lane is a Googie Boomerang sign that has remained from the days that a motel was there. Today what remains of the motel has been converted into small apartments and the rest of the place is now a manufactured home park. But the sign has survived.

This is a typical “Boomerang” sign from the late 1960’s with vertical rods for support. According to the office manager the oval at the top used to have the wording “Pool” advertising the motel’s swimming pool.
