Salem Baptist Church is located in the northeast part of Rocky in a church building constructed in 1958. A former cornerstone is embedded in the brick near the front entrance garden and shows the date of an earlier building - 1910.

The bell from the former church is on display near the southwest corner of the building. It is mounted, with its yoke and wheel, on a 20 ft. tower constructed of metal standing on four legs.
