This sculpture by Italian artist Vitttore Bocchetta is made of marble and polyester. Born in 1918, Bocchetta fled Italy in 1949 due to his political opinion and lived for a short time in South America. While there, he was forced to take work in a ceramics factory, which inspired him to try sculpting. He lived in Chicago from 1958-1986 before returning to Italy.
