This unique apartment building is listed as a contributing building on the nomination form for the Hyde Park-Kenwood National Historic District. It is listed as having architectural significance. In keeping with International Style, it features long clean lines and little adornment.
It has also been designated a Chicago Architectural Landmark. A plaque on site reads:
