This well known businesswoman has chosen a black and grey colour scheme for the outfit she will wear at the next shareholders' meeting. To complement her black hair, she chose a grey saucer hat, zircon earings, black cotton gloves, a grey skirt and a symmetrical black and grey jacket that flares at the wait and to which she added a diamond broach. One can infer that she may be in the stairway building business owing to the colourful drawings of circular staircases behind her that contain elements woven in the fabric of her skirt, such as spindles and rails.
Drew Mandigo created the first seventeen Downtown Rideau Mural Boxes installed in late 2016, from his Auntie Mame Series. Stunning in their originality, Drew’s works feature digital collages of ladies dressed in 1950’s and 60’s fashions, and are inspired by the spirit of the 1958 film of the same name. Several new pieces were released as part of the 2017 mural box expansion project, including one featuring a lady trapped in a glass dome, surrounded by butterflies, and a unique piece dubbed ‘the upside-down lady’.
