Praia de Santa Rita is not so famous as its sister Praia Bom Bom, but equally good, if not better. It's managed by the resort Bom Bom.

Although managed by a private resort, access is free as are all the facilities offered by the resort, including usage of snorkel and paddling equipment.
It's located very close to Praia Bom Bom but it has different characteristics and atmosphere. Only two bungalows are facing this beach, and located at its access. Walking a few hundred meters will offer a secluded position to enjoy this beach and the beautiful natural environment. It's basically surrounded by jungle and the noises of the birds are amazing, specially by sunrise and sunset...
In the very hot days one can take shelter on the shade of the dense trees which provide a delicious umbrella over the sand. Just stay away of the coconut palm trees, as the fall of the fruit can harm you seriously.
Also, it benefits from the bar and restaurant of the resort and the very decent road leading here. A rare situation in the island.
