This Ontario Department of Highways Land Surveys horizontal marker is on the north side of Timm Drive, over the guard rail and down the slope to the wire fence that runs parallel to the road. The marker disk is on a metal rod above the soil. Unfortunately, you will likely need to break through vegetation and cross the wire fence to photograph the marker. Check the co-ordinates as there are similar benchmarks nearby.
At some point in the past, the Department of Highways obviously had oversight for the road allowance that would eventually become Timm Drive.
I stumbled on these markers only because of trouble with a cache puzzle. This is a good example of why I choose to waymark rather than geocache. There is a third benchmark nearby that I need to photograph. I am tempted to check more areas of this wire fence.
