Jimtown Cemetery is an active cemetery of nearly 200 burials, located on Jimtown Rd, not too far from the Red River in Jimtown, OK.

This is the second cemetery in Jimtown, as the original was about a half mile north on the bluff, but when land up that way shifted around 1915, most of the burials were relocated here. There are still two headstones up there dating to the late 1870s, and probably many unmarked burials, but this is the main cemetery, probably predating statehood. A historical marker at the nearby Jimtown Baptist Church notes it as the site of the Jimtown School, indicating that the Jimtown settlement goes back to 1868 when this land was part of the Chickasaw Nation. Who "Jim" was remains obscure, probably a good question to ask at the Love County Historical Museum in Marietta.
