Der Personenaufzug Bad Schandau ist ein 1904 in Bad Schandau errichteter Personenaufzug, der von Bad Schandau auf die Ostrauer Scheibe, eine Ebenheit um den Ortsteil Ostrau, führt. Die Nutzung ist gebührenpflichtig.Der Personenaufzug ähnelt sehr dem 1903 bis 1905 erbauten Hammetschwand-Lift in der Schweiz, hat aber eine geringere Bauhöhe.
Der örtliche Hotelier Rudolf Sendig regte den Bau an und finanzierte ihn aus seinem persönlichen Vermögen. Der Aufzug wurde durch die Firma August Kühnscherf & Söhne hergestellt[2] und am Karsamstag 1905 eingeweiht. Er fährt in einem 52,26 Meter hohen, im Jugendstil gestalteten und bei der Firma Kelle & Hildebrandt in Großluga fabrizierten Stahlfachwerkturm nach oben, welcher am Boden einen Durchmesser von 5,20 Metern und in der Höhe des Ausstiegs einen solchen von 2,50 Metern hat. Dabei überwindet er einen Höhenunterschied von 47,76 Metern. Am oberen Ausstieg befindet sich eine 1,25 Meter breite Aussichtsplattform. Diese ist durch eine 27,80 Meter lange Brücke mit der Spitze der Felswand verbunden.
Im Jahr 1954 wurde die Anlage unter Denkmalschutz gestellt

The Bad Schandau Elevator is a passenger truss-tower elevator built in 1904 at Bad Schandau, a spa town in Saxony, Germany. The height of the elevator is 52.6 metres (173 ft), in an art nouveau-style steel framework tower, which has a diameter of 5.2 metres (17 ft) at the ground and at the door such of 2.5 metres (8.2 ft). On the way upward it overcomes a difference in height of 47.76 metres (156.7 ft). It functions as an observation tower.
The elevator is driven by an electric motor, with the electricity generated by the Lichtenhain Waterfall. During the winter and emergencies, electricity was originally provided by a battery.
In 1921 the drive of the Bad Schandau Elevator were changed to three-phase alternating current, a crank handle was left for the emergency operation. During World War I, the facility was shut down. In 1950 a driving disk hoisting engine was introduced. In 1961 two additional anchoring wires were attached and in 1978 a new control. In the years 1989-1990 the plant, which was put under monument protection in 1954, was reconditioned.
The elevator is visible in some scenes of Wes Anderson's 2013 film The Grand Budapest Hotel.

Výtah v Bad Schandau zrízený roku 1904 spojuje centrum Bad Schandau s místní cástí Ostrau. Jeho stavbu inicioval a financoval místní hoteliér Rudolf Sendig.
Výtah se pohybuje v 52,26 metru vysoké secesní ocelové príhradové konstrukci ctvercového prurezu. Základna má stranu o velikosti 2,3 metru, u horní stanice je šírka konstrukce již jen 1,6 metru. Výtah prekonává výškový rozdíl 47,76 metru. Pohon je od pocátku elektrický. Zprvu byl výtah napájen v letním období proudem z místní tramvajové dráhy a v zime nebo v prípade poruchy z akumulátoru. Behem první svetové války byl provoz zastaven. V roce 1921 byl pohon prestaven na trífázový proud, zároven byl predelán zpusob prenosu ovládacích signálu z kontaktních lišt na zavešený kabel. Nouzové napájení z baterie tím odpadlo, pro prípad výpadku proudu zbyl pouze rucní pohon. V roce 1950 dostal výtah nový pohon, který byl získán z ruin Dráždan. V roce 1961 pribyla dve odlehcovací lana a v roce 1978 nové rídící rízení. V letech 1989-1990 prošel výtah celkovou rekonstrukcí - výtah dostal novou, bohate prosklenou kabinu.
Celé zarízení je od roku 1954 chránenou technickou památkou.
