First installed in 1908, this last remaining hand operated ten ton crane was purchased with one other for 751 Pounds to hit a varity of imported and exported cargoes to and from horse drawn vehicles and railway cars.
Heavy three wheel klondike trolleys were used to ferry cargo to the ships side. These cargoes included marsupial skins, hides, bananas, coffee, tobacco, beer barrels, mangrove bark, ore and many general cargoes.
One of the last known cargoes lifted by this crane were sugar crushing rollers destined for the Mossman Mill in the mid 1960s.
