This free book exchange unit is next to the sidewalk on the east corner of the school, after you drive past the main entrance. It is near two trees. The little library is on a cedar post and the box is painted bright red and has a white trimmed door of clear plastic. The roof is of sheet metal with black rubber edging around its edges, for safety. This book exchange box has one shelf so books along the bottom of the box and along the shelf could hold three dozen books of regular novel size. However, since this is an elementary school, the books could be much thinner and it would hold even more. At the time of posting, there was space for contribution of more reading material. Please remember that this is an exchange ... meaning you Take a Book: Return a Book.

The concept of the Little Free Library is for people within a community to stop by the unit and examine the selection of books at that time. If you see a book you'd like to read, feel free to take it out and take it with you. If you have books at home that you have already read, you are encouraged to take these books to a Little Free Library and donate them into any little library's book selection. This concept is summarized as: Take A Book: Return a Book. Feel free to take a book you want to read, and feel free to return a book/add a book to this exchange unit or any others you know of. Your contribution of books keeps the sections varied and keeps the little libraries filled with book for others. Its is a win-win situation.
