This dated bridge is located in Muskegon, Michigan within Veterans Memorial Park. Veterans Memorial Park is a lowland park containing a lagoon and island with several war memorials. A large fountain anchors the south end of the park with a Vietnam Memorial proudly occupies the north end. The park is easily viewed while traveling north and south along the Causeway. The Veteran’s organization graciously constructed a concrete walkway throughout the park, along which lay bronze plaques, purchased by individuals to commemorate loved ones who have served in the armed forces. This property is owned by the county and maintained by the City of Muskegon. The bridge is a pedestrian bridge to cross the pond in the park.
