(de) Im Zuge des Wiederaufbaus nach dem zweiten Weltkrieg wurde auch in Wrestedt im Jahr 1951 ein neues Gebäude für die Freiwillige Feuerwehr errichtet.
Es liegt an der Ecke Uelzener Str. / Lerchenweg.
Typisch für die Gegend ist die Bauweise aus rotem Backstein, typisch für Feuerwehrgebäude aus dieser Zeit ist der hohe Schlauchturm zum Trocknen der Schläuche.
Über der rechten Tür findet sich noch ein altes Schild "Gemeinschafts-Gefrieranlage", das auf eine entsprechende Nutzung dieses Gebäudeteils hinweist.
Im Jahr 1993 bezog die Freiwillige Feuerwehr Wrestedt das neue Gebäude in der Nähe des Rathauses.
(en) In 1951, during the period of reconstruction following World War II a new firehouse was built for the voluntary fire brigade.
It is located at the Uelzener Str and Lerchenweg junction.
It was built in the "red-brick-style" common in this area and has a hose tower for drying the fire hoses.
Above the door on the right hand, there is a sign saying "Community Freezing House", mentioning a corresponding use of that part of the building.
In 1993, the voluntary fire brigade moved to the new firehouse next to the town hall.
