[DE] Diese Silhouette eines Adlers befindet sich über dem Tor, durch welches man auf den oberen Schlosshof der Festung Ehrenbreitstein in Koblenz gelangt.
Dabei handelt es sich um einen preußischen Adler mit einer Königskrone, darunter die Initialen „FR“ (Fridericus Rex) auf der Brust, in den Fängen hält er Zepter und Reichsapfel.
