Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) [Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes (or Ioannis) Nepomucenus (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic), who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and he refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.

Po levé strane kríže volne stojící socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého osazena na kamenném podstavci. Na nízkém soklu hranolový drík v dolní cásti konvexne tvarovaný, po stranách zdobený obdélnými vpadlinami s vrchní hranou segmentove prohnutou. V cele dríku aliancní erb (M. Nochberga z Hennersdorfu). Na zadní strane dríku latinský nápis kapitálou s chronogramem : E X stat saCraaa stativa DIVe nepoMVCene:, který datuje plastiku do roku 1726. Drík je ukoncen profilovanou rímsou, nesoucí nízký sokl. Na podstavci je osazena socha sv. Jana Nepomuckého. Svetec stojí v mírném kontrapostu je oden v knežském rouchu, hlava s biretem je sklonena k pravému rameni, na nemž svetec obema rukama pridržuje kríž s plastickým korpusem Krista. Pískovec, v sochy 280 cm, v celku 427 cm. Korpus na kríži litinový.
