Based on field measured GPS UTM grid coordinates, the present corner bears S44.4°W from T14S R9E S14 NW 1/16 COR, 1879' distant.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 8"

Found two ponderosa pines without metal signs or partly healed blazes. There is an old LOCATION POSTER on a nearby tree.

Deschutes National Forest all around; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Remonumentation of Certain Original Corner Points, Township 14 South, Range 9 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed August 12, 1966
