This brick arch with a bell stands in the courtyard of St. Francis Retreat in San Juan Bautista, Calif.

There is no indication as to who made it and when, but most outdoor exhibits at the retreat were donated in the early 1950s by local individuals or organizations.

St. Francis Retreat is a facility run by friars of the Franciscan Order. It is open to anybody seeking spiritual growth.
