Vor dem Umbau der Post zur Post Galerie stand die Sculptur auf dem Europaplatz.
Dort wurde die von Professor Walter M. Förderer, Architekt und Stadtplaner 1979 eingeweiht.
Seit 2000 steht er an seinem jetzigen Standort

Made of bronze and granite, the phoenix figure is over a map of Europe.
Before the reconstruction of the post office to the post gallery, the sculpture stood on the Europaplatz.
It was inaugurated in 1979 by Professor Walter M. Förderer, architect and city planner.
Since 2000 he is at his current location
