The
Henry Hobson Richardson designed Union Station opened in 1884. Richardson's friend Frederick Law Olmsted designed the park which the station faces. The current owners of the Union Station building also own the park. Significant restoration of the park is taking place. Posted co-ordinates are for Olmsted's grotto within the park.
