De gemeente Roerdalen bestaat uit de volgende kernen: Herkenbosch, Melick, Montfort, Posterholt, Sint-Odiliënberg en Vlodrop.
In 2012 werd het wandelnetwerk Roerdalen geopend. Inmiddels bestaat het wandelnetwerk Roerdalen uit ongeveer 190 kilometer tweezijdig bewegwijzerde aaneengesloten wandelroutes. Er zijn ongeveer 150 wandelknooppunten. De markeringen zijn gele pijlen in een rood kader.

The municipality of Roerdalen consists of the following cores: Herkenbosch, Melick, Montfort, Posterholt, Sint-Odiliënberg and Vlodrop.
The Roerdalen hiking network was opened in 2012. The Roerdalen hiking network now consists of approximately 190 kilometers of signposted, uninterrupted walking routes. There are approximately 150 hiking junctions. The tags are yellow arrows in a red frame.
