CZ: Chronogram: Deo & DIVo sILentIarIo IoannI ereXIt VVenCesLaVs VVIDIn odkazuje k roku 1749, datu vztycení této sochy. Pískovcová socha sv. Jana stojí na stupnovitém soklu a podstavci, nachýlena doleva, v ruce kamenný krížek s telem Kristovým, v druhé pokrývku hlavy biret.

EN: Chronogram: Deo & DIVo sILentIarIo IoannI ereXIt VVenCesLaVs VVIDIn refers to 1749, the date of erection of this statue. Sandstone statue of st. Jana stands on a stepped plinth and pedestal, tilted to the left, a stone cross with the body of Christ in her hand, and a biret head in the second. From the left on the ledge of a plinth, a small angel with a palm branch sits like a putti. Right angel with locked book. The sculpture is dated according to the chronogram.

Saint John of Nepomuk (or John Nepomucene) (Czech: Jan Nepomucký; German: Johannes Nepomuk; Latin: Ioannes Nepomucenus) (c. 1345 – March 20, 1393) is the saint of Bohemia (Czech Republic) who was drowned in the Vltava river at the behest of Wenceslaus, King of the Romans and King of Bohemia. Later accounts state that he was the confessor of the queen of Bohemia and refused to divulge the secrets of the confessional. On the basis of this account, John of Nepomuk is considered the first martyr of the Seal of the Confessional, a patron against calumnies and, because of the manner of his death, a protector from floods and drowning.
