This is a two-acre park in downtown Newcastle. A creek runs through the park, crossed by two nice bridges. The park contains playground equipment, picnic tables, a pavilion, restrooms and two volleyball courts. There is no parking lot as such, but a grass and gravel parking area is located on the north side. After winning the title of Miss Oklahoma, Leesa Cornett was honored by the city of Newcastle by the renaming of this city park in her honor.
