Twins Christopher and Jennifer Lepine led the planning, fundraising, and construction of United Veterans Council of Woonsocket Armed Forces Park in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Along with construction work, Chris coordinated the labor force and organized landscaping by Troop 1 - Arnold Mills for his Eagle Scout Project.
The park provides a permanent home for the city’s veteran ceremonies and observances, and will be the site of planned future monuments. In addition, informational plaques educate visitors about the many veterans monuments located throughout the city.
The veterans park includes a new monument, an extensive paved brick walkway, benches, flagpoles, signs and plaques.
