Tropical Oasis is a beautiful mural created by Brooke Rowlands. It is painted on the north wall of Sunnyside Diner at Broadway and 2nd, and accessible thru the alley. It is approximately 10' tall and 60' wide, painted with a myriad of bright colors. The artist's signature is at the bottom right of the painting.
Colors used are turquoise, blue, green maroon, yellow, orange and purple. Orange is the primary color of the Bird of Paradise plant, one of the first things that stands out when I see this mural. Geometrical shapes form the background of the tropical plants. Green ferns are placed along the entire length of the mural.
