Located in front of the 856th Quartermaster Company of the Florida National Guard in Arcadia, Florida is a static artillery display of a M110 A2 203mm SPA (self-propelled artillery) howitzer.

The M110 was first utilized by the US Army and US Marine Corp in 1961. It was the most powerful self-propelled howitzer at that time. It saw action during the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm. It is now retired from US Army service but is currently being used overseas by Bahrain; Belgium; Egypt; Germany; Greece; Iran; Israel; Japan; Jordan; Morocco; Netherlands; Pakistan; South Korea; Spain; Taiwan; Turkey; United Kingdom; United States; West Germany.

It is fitted with a M2A2 203 mm/L25 howitzer and a load assisting system to reduce crew workload. It can fire HE-FRAG and nuclear projectiles. Maximum range of the HE-FRAG projectile is 10.5 miles. Maximum rate of fire is one round per minute with a sustained rate one round every two minutes. It utilizes a crew of 13 personnel with 5 being able to ride on the vehicle. The M110 can carry two rounds and additional rounds are carried with an escorting armored personnel carrier along with additional crew personnel. It can travel up to 35 mph with a range of 450 miles.

This M110A2 is of the improved design with the double muzzle brake and was entered in service in 1978. Its maximum fire range was increased to 18 miles. The new design enabled the M110A2 to fire other types of projectiles beyond the standard HE and anti-personnel rounds.
