What is the boardwalk over?:
The boardwalk is in the woods at the edge of a rocky stream gorge overlooking waterfalls. It protects the fragile gully bank edges, ferns, plants and tree roots from water and foot traffic erosion, also making this a safe trail for handicapped persons.
