DeLaval is a Swedish company who patented the first cream separator in 1878. This machine is their New World's Standard Series separator. It appears mostly complete and the model badge on the front of the bowl still proudly advertises their dominance in the market. The separator is located in the SanTan Historical Society Museum in the historic Rittenhouse Elementary School. The museum is open only on Saturday from 9-5. There is no admission charge.
