Patriotic painted hydrants line the Arnold Mills 4th of July Parade route along Nate Whipple Highway/RI-120 in Cumberland, Rhode Island. This is one of five found on the northeast side of the street over a 1.5 mile stretch. It is next to Rhode Island Historical Cemetery - Cumberland #22 and the Lafayette Lodge near the intersection with Quaker Road.
This red, white, and blue striped and star-spangled hydrant resembles a fire fighter. He has white hair, a big mustache, and bright blue eyes. The work is signed "Jocelyn", dated 2015, and accompanied by a set of three white stars, one each with the initials "R", "A", or "C". (Revealed to be Reilly, Adeline, and Chase on the hydrant by Old Meadow Road.)
