There is a large parking area off Skinner Street as you cross through the levee gate. This simple pier appears to be fixed, right beside the two-lane concrete Boat Ramp. It has guard rails at the first half of it, with the rest open to allow the loading or unloading of your craft. Less than 50m away to the east is a 'H' shaped pontoon style pier that has the ability to probably ride out most of the floods that the Clarence River frequently puts out. I would assume that this pier is secured to the six pylons at the end, so that it can ride out a flood by being beneath it.
