Chapel was built over 2 years, having significant damage while under construction from the Great Louisiana Flood of 2016. Finally completed the Gothic structure is hauntingly beautiful.
Cemetery was named for a Catholic Church that once stood in the area, but was torn down in the early 2000's. Cajun humorist Justin Wilson and spouse are buried in this cemetery.
