There were 2 Louisiana historical markers, installed at different locations within the Fontainebleau State Park in Mandeville. One marker gives the history of Native peoples who once had inhabited the area. The other gives history of Enslaved persons, who once worked the area, as the park was once a bustling plantation.

The coordinates given are for the "Native Peoples" marker, to get to it, you will pass "The Enslaved" marker.

Park is a Louisiana State Park, and admission is required to enter park. ( Was $3.00 in 2019)
