The Little River Station and Goods Shed was built in 1864 on the Geelong-Melbourne line. The complex comprises an asymmetric basalt station building, with decorated bargeboard to the gables and a decorative timber platform verandah. Other structures include a basalt lamp room and goods shed.
The Little River Railway Station was one of the earliest station buildings to be built in Victoria
