"Appelé aussi "Moulin du Nord", il s'agit d'un moulin "petit pied" dont la partie supérieure est plus large que la partie inférieure. Construit en pierre de granit dans la 1e partie du XVe siècle, il serait le plus ancien moulin de l'Ile de Bréhat. Les anglais qui ont débarqué en 1409 ont pendu des hommes à ses ailes. Le premier document écrit le mentionnant date de 1539, c'est un aveu du Seigneur de Bréhat. Jusqu'à la Révolution, il a appartenu au duc de Penthièvre.
Plus productif que le moulin à marée de Birlot, il s'est arrêté de tourner en 1881 et il a été transformé ensuite en résidence secondaire. Son toit est maintenant immobile, à cause de la cheminée." (
