[DE] Das Kriegerdenkmal, zu dem neben den Tafeln auch die bekannte Reiterstatue gehört, wurde am 15. August 1926 feierlich eingeweiht. Die Statue zeigt einen den Kopf in Trauer neigenden Soldaten hoch zu Ross, als Vorbild diente dem Rother Künstler Albrecht Dürers Kupferstich „Der Heilige Georg zu Pferde“ von 1508.
[EN] The war memorial, to which beside the panels also the well-known Reiterstatue belongs, was inaugurated on 15 August 1926 solemnly. The statue depicts a soldier leaning on his head in mourning on horseback, as a model was the artist Albrecht Dürer copper engraving "St. George on horseback" from 1508.
