Three British Columbia Provincial Parks
Including Mount Robson were inscribed upon
the World Heritage List of the Convention concerning
the protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage
On December 10, 1990, as an addition to the existing
Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks World Heritage Site.
inscription on this list confirms the exceptional universal
value of a cultural or natural site which deserves
protection for the benefit of all humanity.
The magnificent scenic and unique geographic features
of Mount Robson Park which includes
the highest peak in The Canadian Rockies
and the Headwaters of the Fraser River
are of universal value and will enhance
those features already inscribed
on The World Heritage List.

When we arrived at Mount Robson, it had rained, hailed and it was still cloudy at the visitor centre. We were disappointed that we were unable to see Mount Robson before arriving in Jasper.
Mount Robson Visitor Centre is about 17 km east of Tête Jaune Cache and about 87 km west of Jasper.
