Pour souligner son 25e anniversaire, l'Ordre national du Québec a mandaté l'artiste sculpteur Roland Poulin pour produire cette magnifique œuvre sculpturale intitulée Nos regards se tournent vers la lumière.
Cette œuvre de mémoire collective est doublement chargée d'histoire. En plus des noms illustres qu'elle porte, elle prend place au cœur même de l'un des plus anciens quais de l'âge d'or du bois et de la construction navale.
L'inauguration de l'œuvre s'est déroulée le 7 octobre 2010, en présence de la présidente du Conseil de l'Ordre, Mme Maryse Lassonde, C.Q. et du premier ministre, M. Jean Charest.

This work is installed on the promenade Samuel-De Champlain, in the contemporary art park.
To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Ordre national du Québec commissioned sculptor Roland Poulin to produce this magnificent sculptural work entitled Our Eyes Turn to Light.
This work of collective memory is doubly charged with history. In addition to the illustrious names it bears, it takes place in the very heart of one of the oldest quays of the golden age of wood and shipbuilding.
The inauguration of the work took place on October 7, 2010, in the presence of the President of the Council of the Order, Mrs. Maryse Lassonde, C.Q. and the Prime Minister, Mr. Jean Charest.
