A New England meeting house was the center of the community. It was built using tax money and served as a place where town issues were discusses and religious services were conducted.

The Greek Revival style Union Meeting House was built in 1834. It was originally erected at Smith’s Corner in Salisbury, NH, purchased by Helen O. Storrow in 1928, disassemble, and transferred from West Springfield where it was re-erected as the focal point of the Storrowton Village Museum on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition. The steeple with its clock and bell are from Neponset, MA. The bell was cast in 1851.

Three sets of steps lead up to a portico supported by four Doric columns. The two story building has three bays in the front and four bays on the side. On the front there are three green doors and two multi-pane windows with rounded tops on the second floor with four such multi-pane windows on each side. The interior contains unpainted pine pews and a gallery for the choir. The building is an active part of the Storrowton Village Museum, hosting over 100 weddings a year. It is also the center of activity for many of the museum's programs.
