St. Stephen’s Basilica
St. Stephen’s Basilica, the largest church in Budapest, can hold up to 8,500 people. The Basilica was initially built in the neo-classical style according to József Hild’s plans and completed in the neo-renaissance style based on the plans of Miklós Ybl. The dome of the Basilica is 96 meters high, the exact same height as the Parliament. There is a panorama look-out in the cupola offering a fantastic 360° view of the city for only 500 forints (EUR 1,50).
