NRHP Nomination Form"Designed in a style compatible with civic architecture in Fort Worth, the building's Moderne design contributes to the city's impressive collection of Depression-era Art Moderne-influenced architecture. Renowned Philadelphia architect Paul Philippe Cret, in association with well-known local architect Wiley G. Clarkson, designed the building under the supervision of the Office of the Supervising Architect of the U.S. Treasury Department.
The building has semi-circular balconies at each end at the second-story level, with decorative metal railings and limestone corbels. A slightly recessed center window bay appears at the second through fourth floors."
