A Geodetic Survey of Canada disk from 1928 located in the town of Magnetawan at St. George Anglican Church. The disk is set horizontally in a mass of rock in front of the building. This is the same church that was painted by A. J. Casson of the Group of Seven in 1933 titled Anglican Church at Magnetawan. This disk was here for 5 years before he captured the church on canvas. Parking can be found adjacent to the monument on the shoulder of South Sparks Street.
